Amélie's friend Rena is going to have a little brother in June.
So in our family a lot of stories are currently being told about how babies grow in their mommy's belly and how at some point they come out...
The latest one Amélie came up with this morning:
a: mommy I have a baby in my belly, it's big now!
M: est-ce que c'est une petite fille ou un petit garcon ton bebe? (is your baby a little girl or a little boy?)
a: a little brother mommy, and he's coming out!!!
M: oh la la, d'ou est-ce qu'il va sortir ton bebe? (where is he going to come out from?)
a: from down there, under my knee, but not from my foot!
M: wow un petit frere qui nait du mollet, ca c'est du jamais vu! (wow a little brother from your calf, that's unheard of!)

I think she's just got a very early grasp of Greek mythology:

Great Point Emily, we'll definitely mention Dionysus when the next baby story comes up :)!
